Daniel & Daniel are forever grateful to their partners, who — against their will — signed them up for the International Daniel Convention of 2014.

In the halls of a former industrial bakery, Daniels (plural for Daniel) from all over the world, young and old, cross paths. After a brief welcome speech by the chairman Daniel, amidst the chaotic buzz, two shy glances meet. „So,… Daniel, I assume?“ says Daniel, a little awkwardly, trying to break the ice. Minutes later, Daniel & Daniel realize they were made for each other. They share identical values and visions while being totally different characters.

While one Daniel thrives in pre-production with creative storyboarding, illustration, and a sharp eye for casting, the other brings structure, precision and a playful yet strict visual language. One thinks outside the box, the other organizes it into perfect harmony. Their ability to complement each other’s strengths in the disciplines of filmmaking allows them to craft films that are quirky, visually striking, and full of personality. Together, they blend creativity and precision to create work that entertains, surprises, and resonates.
